Everything is coming together. The space should be fitted up, furniture delivery is imminent, the wifi operational, the coffee machine installed, our first event Ottawa Web Weekend if this Friday and our new minister of first impressions Jocelyn ready to start on 19-May-2008. All indications at this time are that the doors will open for business on May 19th.

I am pleased to announce that theCodeFactory another technology partner.
The Utility Company is an Ottawa based company and will be providing communications for theCodeFactory co-working space on the second floor and is the preferred supplier for our tenants on the fourth floor. The Utility Company is a single-source provider of technology, communications and business management solutions for small and medium-sized businesses across North America. Many thanks to Scott Jackson, Jason Creally, Craig Hale and Andre Ferlatte for developing a communications system that met theCodeFactory needs and especially for keeping the pricing within our budget.
Expect another partner announcement next week. theCodeFactory prefers to do business with local companies and true to our mission we want to help local start-ups as best we can. If you are an Ottawa company with a product or service that you think might benefit theCodeFactory please feel free to contact me at ian ((-@-)) thecodefactory.ca
