This is the 10th edition of students and start-ups. In our previous 9 events we have had 19 hires (possibly more). You can check our YouTube channel (TheCodeFactory) for testimonial videos from YOUiLabs, Infonium, Zeebu Mobile and Norada. We will also be releasing some more testimonial videos from or latest events in the coming weeks.
Same great event with one small change … students have to pay a commitment fee. Why on earth would we charge students? Strange as this may sound it is to make sure students show up … so you can think of it as more of a commitment fee than admission. SMB Ottawa did the same thing to improve attendance and we like the idea.
